I am Eric Maynard, a professional based in Herndon, Virginia, dedicated to architecture drafting, foodservice design, permit drawings, and general contract support. My work centers on creating clear, accurate, and constructible documentation that helps projects move efficiently from concept through permitting and construction. I focus on practical solutions that meet client goals, support code compliance, and reduce delays and change orders in the field.

With a foundation that includes Architecture Fundamentals coursework and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach certification, I bring both technical precision and real-world construction awareness to every project. My experience includes developing detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, equipment layouts, utility coordination drawings, and complete permit-ready packages. In foodservice design, I translate operational needs—menu, workflow, equipment, and staffing—into efficient, well-documented spaces that perform for cooks, servers, and operators while remaining practical for contractors to build. Whether supporting architects, general contractors, or operators on renovations, tenant improvements, or new work, I prioritize communication, attention to detail, and results that go beyond basic expectations.

Outside of professional design and drafting, I am also an author. I have written and published three novels in the Bearman series through Gremlin Publishing:
